I know first hand how breast cancer affects women and families…as many of you already know, I lost my mother to breast cancer back in 1989. Since then, I have met many women who have been challenged with this disease. I am amazed at the fortitude of the women afflicted and am encouraged by the enormous progress made in this fight.
In doing my research on organizations dedicated to achieving a cure for breast cancer, I found an excellent example in The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, which was founded by Evelyn Lauder.
I not only loved their mission statement, but was further impressed with their “A” rating from the American Institute of Philanthropy, and the fact that over 89% of every dollar they spend is on breast cancer research and prevention.
10% of the wholesale proceeds from the sale of my Spirit of Hope Fairy benefits The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Through your support & countless others, we have raised over $25,000 for this worthwhile organization, and I look forward to further donations in support of finding a cure in our lifetime.

My good friend Donna S. bought the Spirit of Hope Fairy, Sm. for me on the day I did the Relay for Life in Yucaipa, CA. This is my 13th Anniversary as a Breast Cancer Survivor! It was a special gift from a special woman and I will not forget the Relay each time I look at it. It was also my first Fairy, but not my last! Thank you for making these wonderful Fairies and for your donation to a The Breast Cancer Research Foundation!

My cousin bought me a Spirit of Hope fairy after my diagnosis last year with breast cancer. He sits on top of my computer as I converse with the women on my BC support site.
By the way….after a bilateral mastectomy…I did not need chemo or radiation….and am now told there is “No Evidence of Disease” !!!!

I bought the Spirit of Hope for my daughter. This year for her 10th birthday, she and a friend had a “pink” birthday party where in lieu of presents, their friends donated to Breast Cancer Research. They raised over $1300.
I was so thrilled to purchase this one for her to show her how proud I am of her!!

This was the first fairy I purchased and is very near and dear to my heart as I lost my grandmother and aunt to breast cancer. Thanks for the opportunity to support research to find a cure.

Glad to hear Jeanette that you are doing well…I meet so many women on my Signing Tour who are affected by breast cancer, and I am always impressed with their fortitude and positive attitudes…just as my own mother was back in the 80’s with hers. Take care and God Bless!

My friend was diagnosed with breast cancer recently and she is an avid collector of yours. Before I had the chance to buy the Spirit of Hope for her…she bought it for herself! I was wondering if you plan to make the wine bottle covers with the Spirit of Hope or Healing Heart Fairy? If so, when do you think they will be for sale?
Thanks!

Hello Mark,
I’m an avid collector of your fairies and it’s exciting to see most from your collection in a website (great job by the way!). I am a nurse and I was wondering if you will come up with a fairy that will represent such caring people like those in my profession. Perhaps that something that will be in the works soon (I’m hopeful!). Keep up the good work and thanks for coming up with such a wonderful collection!

Can I buy the Spirit of Hope Fairy online? There aren’t any stores in my state that sell it.
Thanks

Registering your Fairies & Santa’s is easy, AND, it gets you on my mailing list whenever I release a new catalog, do Personal Signing Events, and other notices. Sometimes, even a free gift is included!
When you buy your Fairy or Santa, attached to it should be the registration card, for which you will see a section to cut off, fill out and mail in.
This is the 2nd year I have done a Spirit of Hope Fairy benefitting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Last years one may be difficult to locate, but he really is a charmer!

I fell in love with your Spirit of Hope Fairy on sight. I am a breast cancer survivor and collect anything with the pink ribbon. I believe there were a couple of other santas with pink ribbons that I hope to add to my collection but I don’t see them on your website. How can I get on your mailing list for a catalog?

Hi, I received my Christmas 2007 caalog and love all the fairies. I called my local dealer in Lewes,De. because I like to purchase the breast cancer fairy for my sister for her October birthday. Kim (the dealer) said she’d try to obtain for me but the company was very slow to respond to her. Please try to send her products so we in small towns can enjoy your products as much as the big city people. Thanks
