2009 LEX Cover

Although I try to find enjoyment in nearly everything I do, one of the things I enjoy most is the design process of the many new Fairies, Elves, Santa’s & other characters each year. With about 100 new designs annually, “design times” are very intense periods of long hours filled with:

  • the challenge of coming up with new idea’s
  • the anxiety of living up to peoples expectations
  • the struggle of getting everything to come together &
  • the exhilaration of seeing the designs ultimately come to a spectacular fruition!

It’s a little bit like a great game of football…or maybe even the Superbowl…especially one that is exciting throughout.

Another time of year that I thoroughly enjoy are my Signing Events, where I get to listen to your comments & suggestions, telling me which are your favorites & what you would like to see in the future. On the following pages are those results…the Class of 2009!

Why is it my small fairies are missing the things that should be in their hands. the violin, hot chocolate mug,and no basket with the goodwill fairy? After purchasing the fairies I was told the small fairies are not made to have the assesories with them. How can this be true?

Mark: Both my husband & I fell in love with your precious fairies a few years ago and immediately were hooked. We have over 40 of them right now & can’t wait beginning the hunt again (we collect the Xmas fairies). Our friends and family are completely fascinated when they come over & see fairies everywhere - living room, dining room, family room, kitchen, wine room…flying around, peeking out from hidden areas & snuggled in the tree. Please have more for us Wine lovers & Foodies. Keep up the fabulous work and the best to you and your talented crew. Happy New Year. The hunt begins!

Mark, One of the fondest memories I have growing up is putting up the Christmas tree with my family, Mom, Dad and Two Sisters. On top of the Tree Always sat a Magic Elf. He Was differant and I can’t remember anyone ever having anything like it. He was Special.
Skip ahead 35 years later; My wife and I have been in search of that perfect tree topper for our New family, But couldn’t find it year after year. This past August My Family and I were on Vacation in Gattlinburgh TN. when we stumbled upon a Christmas Tree Store. We stopped in, to pick up a couple memorable ornaments for the tree like we do on every vacation, and then I saw your Elves. When I saw your collection, I knew We had found it. We purchased the Snow Pine Fairy. The Kids Love Him. He’s Perfect! Thank You. and Thanks for the future memories to.
    Merry Christmas and God Bless.

I’m a private collector of your wonderful Fairies..I would love to see a Sommelier Fairy or Wine Maker Fairy. Keep up the beautiful work. On a P.S. note:I would love to be able to order your fairies as it is difficult to find your whole collection.
