I just purchased “Fairy of the Forest” 36 inches I think, he is INCREDIBLE. There are so many to choose from, it is very hard to decide. I am looking forward to adding him along with others to my holiday displays.

I saw the fairies at a friend’s house and I fell in love with the entire collection.
I purchased this fairy plus 4 more and I cannot keep my eyes away from them….the details are absolutely beautiful and the colors are fantastics.

Just wanted to say that I have been enjoying your collections for several years now and am an avid collector of anything Christmas. Therefore, I am always looking for a new place to shop. Just a couple of weeks ago I noticed that a Christmas shop had opened in New Braunfels, Texas called the Schlitterbahn Christmas Shoppe. We traveled to New Braunfels last weekend to visit the shop and the Mark Roberts display was the best I have seen so far. The entire shop is fantastic, however, I enjoyed the room with your line in it the most. I would advise any collector who happens to travel to that area to stop by the shop. As usual, your products are wonderful!

A helpful reply from a fellow collector for Lynn Stark:
It is my understanding that the first digit in the fairies item number following the 51- represents the year the fairy was manufactured/released.
IE: Spirit of Hope fairies, the first has an item number of #51-62480 for the small size, #51-62482 medium, & #51-62484 large. The first digit following the 51- is a 6, the year the fairy was manufactured/released 2006.
The second Spirit of Hope fairy has item numbers of 51-76234,51-76236,51-76238…so it’s year of release is 2007.
Hope this information helps you. I keep a detailed record of the fairies in my collection as well, also recording by year.
I also collect many of the older fairies, & use the Mark Roberts website as a research tool when considering buying a fairy…so as well miss many of the older fairies being shown.
That said, if you click on the ‘Contact Us’ link provided here you will be able to email ‘Rose’ at Mark Roberts, & she is more than qualified to answer vintage Roberts fairy questions.
Happy Mark Roberts Fairy Collecting! Connie

I dropped by today to say thank you once again to all of you at Mark Roberts who have a role in helping to make possible the smiles our fairies bring to our faces each decorating season… including Mark himself of course, haha!!
Although I don’t have Mr. Roberts decorating talents, haha…my Patriotic-4th of July decor & garlands throughout our home look the best ever this year!! We are receiving wonderful compliments from all who visit our home.
Largely responsible for our Patriotic/4th decor being the best ever…are the large 2008 Uncle Sam, Republican, & Democratic fairies I added to my existing collection of Patriotic fairies from previous years!
I just purchased the 2008 large Pumpkin Gourd, & am looking forward to adding him to my Fall fairy collection & decor! Adding new fairies each year to my seasonal decor helps to inspire me! I’ll be anxious for Fall decorating once the Patriotic season passes due to the addition of the 2008 Pumpkin Gourd & Abundant Harvest fairies!
Then on to Thanksgiving & Christmas! I’ll be adding several of the 2008 fairies to both seasons & my ever growing Roberts fairy collection.
I may need to build my own warehouse, hahaha.
Wishing everyone a safe & fun approaching 4th of July!

I love your fairies - its very hard to store them away after the Christmas season. I am still buying them and will store them till I start decorating for the holidays. They are a delight to display. They go well together, but are distinctively different. Their outfits are well detailed which are a delight to the eye.

Hi All,
I just wanted to drop by and share a photo link with some of Mark’s fairies. (I will be posting more soon) I hope you enjoy them all.
These little guys make me smile. I love them all… Can’t wait to get more.
Thank you Mark, for such a wonderful gift.

I am new to this collection and totally enchanted. I can certainly see why its hard to pick a favorite. I would love to see a fairy with a theme about memory keeping, maybe with a camera. I am a Creative Memories Consultant and it would certainly be fun to have a small fairy to honor the work of thousands of albums that we’ve done or inspired others to do.
Thanks for all the hard work.
Love,
Liz

Your Fairies are my favorite part of adorning our christmas tree each year. I look forward to the warm feeling they give to me to unwrap them each and every year to hang. They take me back to my childhood joys of the holidays and the loving environment they bring. Thank you for keeping the spirit alive in all of us through these fairies
January 6th, 2008 at 3:00 pm
Hi Mark,
We love the Guiding Star Fairy…he brought in the Spirit of Light on top of our Christmas tree this year. If you would like a picture of it, I would send it to you.
Blessings for 2008 and all your Fairies.

Hi - I am an avid collector!!! Many times I come across older fairies - but your new website does not show pictures of all the older fairies!! I like to classify them by year & this is difficult since you don’t list them on your website!!
I recently purchased the XLG (28″)NORTH POLE WORLDS FAIR FAIRY and teh 28″ XLG CHRISTMAS EVE FAIRY - Could you please tell me what year these were made? I believe the Christmas Eve is a 2006 fairy! Also, did you make a spirit of Hope (Breast Cancer fairy) in 2005 or was the first one 2006? Thank you some much for answering my questions

my daughter recently purchased the hummingbird fairy for me for xmas. I was hooked. I went out and purchased the pirate and the holly/mistletoe fairies which I love. Outstanding workmanship. Will you be doing any female fairies, maybe a very detailed and elaborate fairy godmother(hint, hint)
December 31st, 2007 at 9:44 am
Thanks for a most enjoyable visit. I just took the tour of your Christmas fairies. I am a new collector and I loved the web site and also the fact that you are not afraid to offend by saying Christmas, after all we would have no Christmas without Christ. Thanks, Myra

Hi Mark,
My son Patrick celebrated his first Christmas this year and I wanted something special. North Pole Fairy was just what I was looking for. I came home and hung him in his room. I just had to have another one, so we purchased Home for the Holidays the next day. He reaches out to ring the bells every morning when we look at him. Plan on adding to the collection every year. Look forward to meeting you next year in Sacramento.

The answer to your question Chris is YES! I did a most unique collection of Under the Sea type Fairies a couple of years ago…they are not on the website, so I am forwarding your question to my in-house expert, Rose, who will forward you images of these. They were recently retired, but will still be available from select retailers. Eventually, we will get them all posted in the RETIRED FAIRIES section of this website.
December 28th, 2007 at 6:11 am
I now have 3 of your faries and love each one. The last purchase was “Night before Christmas” my favorite so far! Are there any plans to make a sea shore nautical type farie?
December 26th, 2007 at 7:41 am
I was given my first fairy this Christmas. The double mint Fairy. They are adorable. I have since walked thru your website and wish we could purchase them online. Any chance of that happening in the near future?? I look forward to starting my collection and getting my three granddaughters started. Thank you for keeping Christ in Christmas!!!! Many blessings to you!!!
December 24th, 2007 at 12:19 pm
Your Fairies were the best find ever this year! We had finished our shopping when we stumbled upon them. I knew I had to have one. The Mistletoe and Holly Fairy is the beginning to our new collection. Merry Christmas!
And Peace on Earth to all.

My daughter chose Cookies and Milk Fairy we love him! We decided to create a new tradition and purchase one every year. However after looking at the website, there are at least three more we really MUST have this year!

A friend recently purchased a Peppermint Fairy Candy Bag from an authorized Mark Roberts dealer. The item # is 51-75878. I can not find this item listed on your website and was afraid she might have purchased a fake. Can anyone help?
Thank you for your time!
December 19th, 2007 at 5:06 pm
yesterday was the first time I saw the fairies. I am totally in love with them . I plan to buy as many for christmas as I can. Iam giving my daughters one and I plan to buy one each christmas.
December 13th, 2007 at 12:05 pm
Yes Jeri, I have done a Cookbook Fairy for 2008! He even has some terriffic recipies that were my mothers. Look for this Fairy in the SPRING FAIRIES 2008 tab of the website.
Also, I had done a Grape Fairy, which is perfect for your wine lover friends. He is now retired, so obtaining him will be a challenge, but well worth the hunt! You can find him in the RETIRED FAIRIES tab.
December 13th, 2007 at 7:42 am
Mark,
I love your Sweet Shop Fairy and your Sugar and Spice Fairy. Have you thought about creating a “chef themed” Fairy and/or a “wine lovers” Fairy? I have many friends who are quite the chefs and lovers of good vino. I’d love to surprise them with a fairy of their own, but most of them haven’t a clue about baking cookies! Love your fairies; keep up the good work!
And by the way, I’m thrilled you changed your web addy to read “Christmas” and got rid of that X!
December 12th, 2007 at 7:10 am
Dear Blythe,
I have to laugh, because I am now in the same postion I put so many of my collectors in…that is…trying to decide on which Fairy to get!
Here’s what I love about each that you are considering:
ASPEN WOODS FAIRY: This was the first one of my 2007 designs which I completed, and for some reason, it came out perfect almost immediately, with very few changes. I did him first because I loved the colors and trims so much.
SWEET SHOPPE FAIRY: This is perfect for a young girl with the brite pink colors and sweet candies. The first completed sample of this one, I have kept to give as a gift to my dear neice Hannah who is a few years your junior.
UNDER THE SEA FAIRY: This one is most unique…I always knew Santa had helpers under the sea! Like all my other Fairies, I became enamored with this one quite easily. He is loaded with fun & precious details. If you want to have a under the sea theme this guy is perfect.
PIRATE FAIRY: This fella does double duty both at Halloween and at Christmas time. A friend from L.A. had called me last year to tell me that a new Pirates of the Caribbean would be released this year, and would I consider doing a Pirate Fairy for him. This was the last Fairy I did for 2007, and he is loaded with character. He is always happy and I love his shiny red coat complimented by his black leather eye patch.
I wish I could tell you exactly which one to get, but the one you choose will be special no matter what. Let me know what you decide upon. Thanks for writing.
I hope you have a really Merry Christmas.

Hi, I just discovered your fairies and love them! They are so beautiful - just breathtaking. Can’t wait to collect more.
Also, I saw the comments about putting Christ back in Christmas, and I like that - I am Christian. However, being a college graduate and having studied many things, I would also like to point out that, contrary to popular belief, “X-mas” is not anti-christian. Christmas actually got this label because the ancient Greek name for Christ was Xristos. X-mas is just a short hand for Xristos-mas, which means the same thing as Christmas. Just thought everyone might like to know that.
December 9th, 2007 at 5:24 pm
I just bought 2 of your fairies in Macy’s New York and they are amazing. Are they available in the UK as I am sure they would go down like a storm may I suggest Harrod’s as an outlet for your fairies. I am looking forward to adding to my collection
Happy Holidays and thank you for making mine
December 9th, 2007 at 3:17 pm
My first Mark Roberts collection, “Home for the Holidays Fairy” touched my heart. Many families are blessed to be celebrating the holiday season with there families, but there are many that won’t, lets take the time and be thankful if we are one of the fortunate ones and pray for the familes who can not, especially our service men and women!
December 7th, 2007 at 8:47 pm
I’m not sure where to post my following comment, so will simply post it in this category.
I came to the website this evening to see if by chance any photos of the 2008 Spring Fairies were showing, of which I’m anxiously awaiting. I am looking forward with excitement to adding many of the 2008 Fairies to my ever growing collection.
What I found of most interest this evening however… was Mr.Roberts heartfelt comment on the home page relating to putting the ‘Christ back in Christmas’.
I sincerely & honorably commend Mr. Roberts for putting the ‘Christ’ back in Christmas. In fact…I stand up & applaude him for doing so. I agree 100% that our society has become too overly politically correct, especially relating to ‘Christianity’.
Thank you Mr. Roberts!!
Merry Christmas to all, & “God Bless Us Everyone”.

Dear Debbie,
The only way you can register your Fairies or Santa’s is by filing in and mailing the numbered card attached to each of my Fairies & Santa’s. Fairy Registration is not available on-line because we need to receive the actual registration card. The handwritten Limited Edition Number on your registration card is what makes your Fairy unique and special.
December 2nd, 2007 at 6:52 pm
I purchased my first Christmas Fairy and I am wanting to register it but I can not find where to do that on your website. Could you help?
Thank you!
December 2nd, 2007 at 4:32 pm
I found your Santa faries last year at our Yankee Candle Factory in Williamsburg, VA. I instantly fell in love and told everyone that was all I wanted for Christmas. I ended up with 5 small ones with the most fantastic boxes. Can’t wait to start on the new line.
November 27th, 2007 at 3:44 am
BEAUTIFUL, I HAVE NO WORDS ALL THE FAIRIES ARE WONDERFUL, IN LISBON DO YOU HAVE ANY SHOP THAT SELLS THESE FAIRIES……
November 23rd, 2007 at 4:54 pm
Do you have a Spirit of Hope Fairy?
November 23rd, 2007 at 2:24 pm
I display over 20 themed trees in my home and have a Mark Roberts tree filled with fairies, they are also on wreaths throughout my home. They are so enchanting and loved by all who come each year to see my displays.
November 19th, 2007 at 10:11 pm
I was given the Large - Deck the Halls Fairy from a friend for my birthday in September. I truly feel blessed having this beautiful masterpiece in our home. It is the first item I brought out to decorate this Christmas Season. I am surely going to continue adding onto the collection. Thank you.
November 18th, 2007 at 6:13 pm
Dear Mark, In May, our 1 year old home burned to the ground. I registered some of my fairies with you and was hoping I could get a list of them. With Christmas approaching is is very strange to not have any of our belongings. Our new home will be done in about a month and I would love to replace some of our fairies. We picked them up on our honeymoon, vacations, and every Christmas. They are so whimsical and always put a smile on our faces when we decorate! Also, I would love to get a catalog because our store in town has cut back on their inventory. Thank you so much.
November 15th, 2007 at 3:41 am
I just purchased the Make a Wish Fairy from Macy’s in Hawaii amongst the Xmas Fairies and saw on your website that the Make a Wish Fary is holding a staff or a pole which the two on display did not have? Is it missing or is the picture adding props?
November 14th, 2007 at 8:09 pm
Oh and I forgot the Deck the Halls and the Sleigh Ride are my absolute favorite for theis holiday season.
November 14th, 2007 at 8:08 pm
Hi Mark,
I have to agree and as a retail designer I think the 2007 series is the most wonderful of all, We are all excited that we have finally collected all of the 12 days of Christmas, so what will the next collection be? I think fairies from around the world, or maybe like Connie suggested dog and cat lovers fairies, I have decided that there is fairy dust on these fairies and once we see them we fall in love, my husband just doesn’t get it but he has acclamatted himself to the fact that we need another tree just for fairies, chandeliers are full, clocks and cabinets are great and I continue to find new ways to display them, I am so glad you have blessed us with your vision as well as your talent! Thank You
November 13th, 2007 at 8:02 am
A helpful tip from a fellow Mark Roberts Fairy Collector:
For those who are asking about where to purchase some of the retired & previous years fairies, or how to buy on line…many of the retail stores listed in the ‘Where To Buy’ section of this website have on line retail stores as well. Some of which have retired fairies & previous years available, as well as current fairies.
I’ve also phoned retail stores & inquired as to whether or not they have a particular fairy in stock, or can order it for me. Most stores will ship if you aren’t close enough to drive. I’ve found many fairies I wanted to add to my collection the ways mentioned above. Good luck!

Yes, Susan, I do plan on designing Monkey Fairies again…I have been toying with the idea and may do them for release sometime in 2009. Tks for the comments! Mark
November 11th, 2007 at 10:18 am
I purchased my very first Mark Roberts very years ago. It was one of the monkey fairies and it is still my favorite! Will we ever see the monkeys again?
Thank you.
November 8th, 2007 at 8:59 am
I absolutely LOVE these fairies!!! They are the most beautiful Christmas items I own and display! My eight year old and I have fun going thru the website and picking our favorite! These truly will be heilooms I will pass down to all my children and hopefully they will remember me as fondly as I remember my Mom with her beautiful items:) I am a fairly recent collector so I missed out on the Jack Frost (which I think is the most beautiful) Is there any resources available to purchase this one in Medium or Large?
THANK YOU so much for these beautiful keepsakes and keep them coming:)
November 4th, 2007 at 9:18 pm
I love the fairies. I have been trying to find the 2007 Christmas Rose Fairy, #51-62414 (small,9″), but have not been successful in my search. Can you help me find a retailer in my area who has stocked this item, or let me know how to purchase directly? Are they really available?
Thanking you in advance for your help.

I just purchased my first Fairy, “Home For The Holidays”. My mother and I spent 3 hours in “Twinkles”, the store that sells his amazing collection. I didnt want to go home! This is the first of many in which I will purchase. Mark is an extraordinary, talented and gifted artist!
October 25th, 2007 at 6:38 am
To my dear Mark,
As you know, we love your Santa fairy ornaments, and have collected many of them. Where can we purchase more of these? Have you designed any new ones?
love, Michele
October 24th, 2007 at 12:01 pm
I love your fairies. We put them up early in November and tell the little ones to be good because Santa’s fairies are watching them carefully before Christmas.
October 21st, 2007 at 7:33 pm
I first saw the fairies last Christmas at a friends house and fell in love with them. Couldn’t wait for them to be available in the stores. I just bought 7 and will buy some more this year. I am totally hooked. They make me feel so happy just looking at them. Thank you.
October 7th, 2007 at 5:54 pm

One other thing! I like to collect for my kids. I found one for my daughter. However my son is a big snowman collector. Do You ever do something with snowman?
September 23rd, 2007 at 7:13 pm
My husband and I was in Parkville Mo today, where I was introduced to the fairies for the first time. My husband brought the Baker Fairy for me, I love them! I have always been a collector of Christmas and cant wait to collect more!
September 21st, 2007 at 8:45 pm
Locating a retailer is easy…go to the WHERE 2 BUY tab and type in your zipcode. You can also email Rose or Irene at Info@Xmas-Magic.com and they will refer you to some retailers who have large internet sites which you can order from. Enjoy!
September 21st, 2007 at 8:14 pm
I am in heaven. I cant believe I have finally found someone that makes beautiful elves and fairies. I do a christmas lights display in AUSTRALIA and in it we have a Santas lounge room that children can walk around in , and sit on Santas chair etc. I have managed to find a couple of elves over the years to add to the room. One watches over Santas naughty or nice list, one decorates the tree etc . Could you PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE tell me if I can buy you fairies anywhere in Australi. If not do you know of any American supplier who would be willing to send to Australia
Again thank you for your wonderful work Kerry Duff
September 21st, 2007 at 6:54 pm
I love them all…wish I could buy more,do you have a way to purchase them thru the internet if so please let me know how.
September 19th, 2007 at 10:19 am
I think you have met your match for the love of the fairies!!!! I have over 100+. I only wished we could buy them on line, as it kills me to wait for the stores to carry them. I would like to see a diamonds & Rubies christmas fairy as I am known for using a lot of them through out my house, at Christmas time, in fact D&R and fairies in every room no lie. They fly from chandliers, lamps, beds, mirrors etc. Maybe some time you could come to Fresno for a signing!!!!
Keep the faith and love of the fairies as life is to short and we must all believe. Thanks again for all the magic.

I was wondering about the prices of the “fairy package ties”, as well as the winebags. Is there a price list for all of the fairy products?
September 16th, 2007 at 7:45 am
I started collecting your fairies years ago when I discovered them in a little shop in Missoula, MT. I have been collecting them ever since. I have well over 100 of them and decorate differently with them every year. Last year we had a 12 foot tree filled with fairies along with hanging some of them with fishing line at different hights around the tree! Guests were amazed!
September 13th, 2007 at 11:29 pm
I have many of your fairies. I love the new 2007 Xmas fairies. I can’t decide which ones to get. I usually get about 6 or 7 for the season. I am thinking of:
The Emerald City Fairy
Candlelight Fairy
Aspen Woods Fairy(we ski alot)
Guiding Star Fairy
New Years Fairy
Deck The Halls Fairy
Make a Wish Fairy
I think these will all be great additions to all of my other fairies. I have a fairy Xmas tree to add these to. I just received the Happy Birthday Fairy for an early birthday present. I love it. Can’t wait to put up my fairy tree.
Thanks for making Xmas so enjoyable with these fairies.

Your wonderful gift and new catalog was received (forwarded by USPS) today. I have moved since registering my fairies. How do I notify you of the new address? Hope to see you in Blowing Rock in November.
September 10th, 2007 at 12:59 pm
Ina, I keep some of my Christmas Fairies out year round…not all of them, but some yes. I tend to rotate them, but some have been out for years now, but then, I do love Christmas! Thanks for your comment on my Spirit of Hope Fairy, benefitting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. I lost my mother to breast cancer in 1989. You can see this Fairy, and a few others which benefit other worthwhile causes at the CHARITABLE CAUSES tab of my website.
You’re welcome for the box of Christmas cards…I hope your family and friends enjoy receiving them from you later this year.
September 8th, 2007 at 7:13 am
Dearest Mark,
I love my fairies.I have 5 fairies. I’m addicted to them. I would love to display them year round. Would that look strange (odd) to do this?
Keep up the good work!!! also I am so happy to see part of the proceeds going to the cancer foundation. Thanks again for your beautiful work.P.S. tHANK YOU FOR MY CATALOG & GIFT
September 8th, 2007 at 6:14 am
I have two Fairies and absolutely love them. Where can I buy them on-line?
September 7th, 2007 at 10:14 am
Mark,
The 2007 colection is magnificent! I am wondering if the “confection” ornaments that I bought in Blowing Rock, NC several years ago are still available. They are similar to the cupcakes in the photo of the Sweet Shop Fairy. They make great props for my large collection of fairies, and would like to purchase more. Thanks for your never ending creativity!

I just got the Halloween Nite Fairy for my birthday from my daughter. It is my first fairy and I love it! She carries the Santa Fairy line as well as the Spring Fairy line in her store in Lubbock, Texas. I love the detail in your fairies and their whimsical nature. I look forward to adding to my collection.

To Mr. Mark Roberts,
A builder fairy would be wonderful! I’m a retired Interior Designer/Home Builder/Contractor! My husband & I designed & built our empty nester literally with our own two hands from the ground up! I would definitely add a builder fairy to my collection, haha!
Another idea would be a ‘dog lover’ fairy! Of course the fairy holding an English Springer Spaniel would be my personal breed preference, haha.
I just received my new Pirate fairy, he’s ‘currently’ my 07 favorite! Emerald City is at the top of my favorites also, being I’m from Kansas & have loved The Wizard of Oz movie since I was a little girl.
This is so much fun being able to come here & read about other Mark Roberts fairy collector’s!!
Thanks for not only the beautiful fairies, but the new interactive website as well!

I am so glad to read about peoples favorites. There are so many that are my own favorites…it’s hard to decide!! Since The Wizard of Oz is one of my all time favorite movies, I am heartened to read the positive responses to the Emerald City Fairy. Thanks for all the comments!
August 27th, 2007 at 6:43 pm
Trying to decide on my favorites, as they all are wonderful! Deck the Halls Fairy, Emerald City Fairy, Gift Wrapping Fairy win the top 3 spots!
August 27th, 2007 at 3:17 pm
You overwhelm me with your fairies throughout the years. Looking especially forward to the Republican & Democratic fairies - I work for the election department and plan to buy both & will put them up in my office for the 2008 election for everyone to see!
August 27th, 2007 at 2:45 pm

Absolutely love your collection, especially the Emerald City Fairy, Deck the Halls Fairy and the Dreidel Fairy (nice of you to recognize Judaism).

I love all of my Fairies, and I agree that the Christmas 2007 collection is just beautiful and very hard to decide. I have alrady purchased 8 just from 2007. I have a variety of the spring collection too that I keep out all year round. The two that a special to me is the sunflower fairy because he reminds me of my home-Kansas. And the hummingbird fairy because it reminds me of my mother-in-law who loved hummingbirds. I also have some of Mark Roberts fish and ceramic fruit. Love them all
Thank you so much.

I want to see a picture of it Connie!! It sounds outrageously fun. Maybe it is time for me to do a Carpenter Fairy, Builder Fairy, or something like that…I will have to think about it.

The 2007 Fairies are beyond beautiful!! It’s difficult to choose a favorite! I’ve darn near purchased the entire 2007 line, in medium & large sizes 41 to date just from 2007!
My entire Roberts Fairy collection now totals over 175, dating back to the very first ‘primitive’ Candy Cane fairy.
I’m considering building a ‘Fairy Cottage’ on our land near our home simply to house & display my fairies year round, rather than seasonal in our home, which they are beginning to outgrow, hahaha. Fortunately my husband enjoys that I love the Fairies so much, as his help will be needed to build a cottage!!
Thank you to all of you at Mark Roberts who contribute to our Fairies!
God Bless, Connie Emery

The retail prices for my Fairy inspired Wine Bag holders are approximately $39.50 to $47.50. They wrap up a bottle of wine very festively and have been really popular…I have signed quite a few of them at Signing Events both this year already and last year.
