It’s Halloween time (and election time), but there’s nothing scary about my 2008 Signing Tour. Over the next 5 weeks, I will be traveling throughout the country, going to 20
cities in a dozen or so states where I will meet many of you, while at the same time signing my newest Fairies, Elves & Santa’s, stocking holders, wine bottle bags & purses! Although my SIGNING SCHEDULE is quite hectic, I am fortunate to get to see so many great cities & towns all across America and get to meet so many very nice & interesting people. You can see my complete Signing Schedule inside the EVENTS tab above, or you can just click on the crazy picture of me to the right to go directly there. I hope you can come out and meet me at one or more of these events and I can personally sign some of your Fairies & Elves.
Now admittedly, there has been a time or two when I realized I am not as young as I would like to think! Especially with my very busy travel schedule. Like the time this past July, when I had to get up at 3:00am (east coast time) in Williamsburg, Virginia to catch a 5:15am flight to Houston with a stop over in Atlanta. I hardly slept the night before, and (was fortunate) to have an interview with the local CBS TV station before the Signing. Well, the turnout at the store that day was terrific, which made me very happy, no matter how tired I may have been that day!
All in all, I do realize that I am a lucky guy. Yes, I have to work my buns off, but I also get to travel all around the world, travel all about America, meeting unique people along the way who just happen to love my creations. Yes, I am a lucky guy indeed and I have you to thank. I look forward to meeting many of you over the next 5 weeks.

Enjoy a few images of Mark’s visit to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN,
during July 2008.

Back in July of this year, I had the opportunity to speak at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, where we donated over 120 Fairies for St. Jude to eventually give to their young patients. This was my second visit to St. Jude and like my first visit, it was very moving.
Part of my talk involved making a special presentation to one of the St. Jude patients. What a lucky person I was to meet such a beautiful young girl! Seeing the magic in her eyes as I presented her with the Fairy of Miracles was worth more than words can ever tell.
Click on the photo to the right to see a few more pictures of Peter & I, along with Wanda Goodman from Shackelford’s Florist of Memphis. Click on the Fairy of Miracles to learn more about this Fairy and St. Jude.
Below is a blog commentary that collector Connie Emery posted recently. Connie’s words say it all so beautifully!
I spent last weekend in Memphis visiting a dear
friend at St.Jude’s. His name is Dillon, & he has been a St.Jude’s patient since he was 5 yrs old. He recently celebrated his 16th birthday. Without the help of St.Jude’s & strong Faith in God…Dillon wouldn’t have survived the last 11 yrs. Dillon gave us a tour of St. Jude’s Chili’s Care Center while we were there. He continues his battle with his inoperable malignant brain tumor, but with the help of St.Jude’s & strong Faith in God, we believe he will win his battle with Cancer. I purchased a second Fairy of Miracles recently, to give to Dillon as a gift. I haven’t given it to him just yet, as I plan to wait & have Mark sign it for Dillon when I bring it with me to Decori this November. Dillon & I both live near the Kansas City area. Thank you so much for helping the children & families of St.Jude’s with your charitable Fairy of Miracles. I personally know how much St.Jude’s does for the children & their families. Most importantly, with charitable help such as your Fairy of Miracles provides, together many lives are saved. God Bless, Connie
Well said Connie…thanks for sharing the magic!

Although far from perfect, we still live in the greatest country in the world. No matter what, please vote this November 4th. This is our civic duty which too often is forgotten in some people’s busy lives.
The current and previous 2 Presidents have each gotten at least one Fairy over the past 4 years, so it was fitting for me to come up with my VOTE Democrat & VOTE Republican Fairies for 2008.
These may be collector’s items already, so good luck in finding yours if you don’t already have them.
