A very timely comment Gail! Rose and I are working right now on finalizing my Summer & Fall 2008 Signing Schedule. There will be quite a few dates, many of them in cities I have never been to before. We will get them posted as soon as they are finalized.

My sister got me my first one for Christmas this past year. I am in love and now I have started collecting them. When will you be in Indianapolis? These remind me of kitchen witches I brought back from San Francisco for my mom.

Hello Mark,
It was an honor to have met you in November at Robb & Stucky in Tampa. I thoroughly enjoyed the signing event and hope you will be back again in 2008. I took your advice and took my fairies out of the “plastic” to enjoy for the Christmas holidays. I got great decorating ideas from watching your Christmas DVD. Thank you for creating so many beautiful fairies, I love them all!
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
Sincerely,
Carol

One of my 14 themed trees I put up this year is a Mark Roberts 7 1/2 ft fairy tree. It is as enchanting and mystical - loved by young and old alike. Mark brings so much at Christmas - can’t take my eyes off those fairies - keep up the great work!
December 9th, 2007 at 4:46 pm
I have just been introduced to your fairies. I have bought two and have asked for my family and friends to continue the collection. I just got married and I was wondering if there would ever be a “wedding fairy”? Thanks for sharing your wonderful and beautiful gift. I hope to see you in my hometown Suffolk, VA.
December 3rd, 2007 at 3:03 pm
I hope that you will visit Colorado in 2008. I have recently acquired one of your fairies (first one) & will be adding to it. I LOVE them!
I had to visit San Francisco to find him when I had the power all along to find these pretties here in Colorado.

Dear Mark,
After lost of everything in the Ramona fire and the Holiday approaching well needless to say it has been hard on all of us. My daughter tried to get me in the spirit and we ventured out to Canterbury Gardens in Escondido. Well I was so overwhelmed and did not know where to start as I had to start from scratch., but when my daughter and I stumbled on your santa faires we started to smile and laugh which is a rare thing these days. Needless to say we purchased 3 of them of course fighting over which one was cuter. We noticed you were going to be there the following day we unfortunately had to deal with the whole fire insurance issues and was not able to attend so we left our boxes to be signed with much regret not able to meet you. Anyways, thanks for the creation, and our new additon to our family. I can not wait to introduce our santas to the rest of our family. It is not possible to get back our old memories of collections but I am excited to start new ones with the faires incidently I told my daughter if there is ever a fire again (God forbid) grab the faires, pictures and important paper work in that order!! Thanks for making a hard time a little easier. Sorry I was not able to meet you!

Your fairies are beautiful. I was disappointed that you weren’t able to make it to your scheduled signing at the downtown Seattle Nordstrom.

Mark
It was so wonderful to see you on the recent signing tour near my home area of BLOWING ROCK, NC!!
I was just in Blowing Rock this past weekend at the Carriage Trade & Antiques, and it just didn’t seem the same without you in there!
Mom & I got several fairies as gifts!
Thank you so much for the fabulous pictures that Peter took of us-I have the framed one on my sofa table, sitting in a fairy lap, of course!!
It was great to see you as always!
Happy Holidays!

Thanks for the very good question Irene! Although we always prefer that you support your local retailers, if and when you have any troubles getting the particular Fairies or Santa’s you want, you can always email Rose or Irene at info@xmas-magic.com which is posted on this website, and they will find you a retailer that stocks a large variety. Please keep in mind that no retailer would have everything in stock at any given time, as often, even my warehouse is out of stock on so many styles. I constantly am getting shipments in, but the response from my fans is always so positive and the fact that there are so many different styles and sizes of Fairies, Santa’s and the like, that inevitably, some will be temporarily out of stock. I too share your frustration, as I often want to give a specific one as a gift, and sometimes have to make a second choice, or just wait as other collectors do.
I am glad you have gotten so many of my Fairies signed…that is a supreme compliment to me, which I am greatful for.
November 26th, 2007 at 3:47 pm
We have many of your fairies (most of them signed), and we have given many for gifts. It’s impossible to find a store with every one of them. CAN’T WE PLEASE ORDER ON-line LINE? You could give discounts/commissions to your stocking dealers to offset the loss of sales for them, by asking on-line purchasers where they saw the line or item. Surely, your reps would be glad to take reduced commissions for orders they did nothing to create!
November 24th, 2007 at 5:54 pm
I love your fairies, and have more than my small condo can hold! I am hoping you will offer again the elves without wings from +/- 8 years ago. They are my favorites, and those of my friends who are also collectors. Merry Christmas, and I’ll see you in Escondido next week!
November 20th, 2007 at 6:54 pm
Just a note to say “thank you” to the very many of you who have turned out for me to sign your Fairies & Santa’s on my Signing Tour. Many of the events have had an overwhelming amount of people who were very patient to wait while I met with each collector. I have greatly enjoyed sharing with you various stories of mine, and learning about many of you through our conversations. At this point, I have only 5 more Signing Events…all on the west coast now, and I look forward to meeting more of you and signing your Fairies. A very Happy Thanksgiving to all and a Merry Christmas for good cheer!!

Mark, it was wonderful meeting you in Plano, TX last Saturday! I purchased the Golden Age Fairy and the Breast Cancer Fairy for my sister who is a survivor. Thanks for signing them.
November 13th, 2007 at 7:40 am
It was an absolute honor to finally meet the creator of my beautiful & cherished fairies…Mr. Mark Roberts! I had the most wonderful time at Decori the evening of Nov. 1st, meeting & sharing our mutual love of the fairies with Mr. Roberts! Mr. Roberts is truly a pleasure to talk with, very personable & charming…just like his fairies!
It is so very obvious that Mr. Roberts honestly loves & enjoys the fairies as much as we collectors. That in itself is such a pleasure to witness!
The store owners at Decori are just as personable & charming. Thanks to you all who made the night such a pleasureable & memorable experience for my daughter & myself.

I recently discovered your fairies on a trip to Seattle, WA. while visiting my sister. I bought the Pumpkin Pie Fairy… and now I can’t stop. I have searched for deals and bid, bid, bid!!! I am hooked. Will you ever cone to Maine? and does anyone design cross stitch charts? I am a designer and am interested. Leah

I bought my first Mark Roberts fairy.Since I couldn’t decide which one to buy, I bought two more and came home with three fairies. I started collecting fairies in Ireland when i lived there a few years ago.
This is a great addition to my collection. Now i am in the hunt for more to buy. Went on-line and discovered other stores in Arlington sell them, and that Mark will be in Plano this weekend! I am excited about meeting him.

Mark,
I am most excited to see you interview and show off your Christmas Fairies so that more of the world will see what they are missing and what they absolutely need in their homes! Your fairies are like people~~in that, if you put them in the right place they don’t move, and claim it as their home, Christmas, Peacock, Garlic what have you, they remain and ALWAYS make you smile! Beginning collections for children, new or not so new, is a great idea, gives one far more opportunity to purchase Fairies. They’ve really done something wonderful to my outlook and just ME. Thanks Mark you are so talented!

What no PARIS? (France) Have you been there for the completely overwhelming and inspiring New Year Celebrations, as that is the holiday of holidays in Paris (never mind Bastille Day~~~ platitudes, platitudes). I WILL see you on the 17th at Bergdorf’s, Mr. Roberts, shan’t even THINK about what it will cost me to leave that wonderful fairyland of a store with your creations (all for ME) and I so look forward to it!
Thank you.
Thank you, thank you!

I have been collecting your beautiful fairies for a year
and now have 20. They are beautiful and I truly appreciate
the designs.
October 28th, 2007 at 5:59 pm
I was in Vegas recently and bought one of your christmas faires, I think they are just beautiful. It’s the first time I have seen this sort of decoration. I have another fairy collections but yours are such fun. Where can I buy them in Canada and if not here where and how?
October 16th, 2007 at 5:35 pm
Mark, We are really enjoying the Heralding Fairy we purchased in St.Charles, Missouri. I hope you will consider having a signing somewhere in the St.Louis area in the future.
October 11th, 2007 at 1:09 pm
Yes Carolyn, on some I have started including elements in the hands of some of my small Fairies…and yes, you should be able to bring some of your older Fairies to where I may be Signing.
October 9th, 2007 at 7:54 am
Mark, is there any possibility that you will start including hand ornaments in the small fairies? They add so much to the design. Also, when I come to a signing, can I bring fairies I already own for you to sign?
October 7th, 2007 at 8:52 pm
Well, I hope Carolyn that I get to meet you in Plano! I have just started my Signing Tour, and it is great fun to see so many places big and small…meeting so many people across America. I think you will be thrilled with the many new designs I have come up with for this Christmas season.
October 7th, 2007 at 10:08 am
Hi Mark. I’m new to collecting your fairies; just started last Christmas, but caught up fast. I now have six of them and keep looking. I only collect the small because of room, but love them. Hope to see you in Plano, TX on November 10. Would it be easier to bring one and have you sign or buy one there and have it sent to me? I’d love to meet you.
September 28th, 2007 at 1:18 pm
Your fairies have become Christmas to my family. It is a family affair hanging them, and it really kicks off the season for all of us! They are hung from the second story ceiling in a two story foyer(sometimes two or three on a fishing line)at different levels. The banaster lights are the only lights we use so they really appear to be flying! Its magical! Not only are they beautiful, they’re fun! Once each person’s favorite fairy comes out the smiles are electric! We have collected over 100 and can’t wait to add more this year. Thank you for making this tradition possible for our family! I’d love to have you sign just one of our fairies-Chicago will miss you!
September 26th, 2007 at 9:16 am
Has your signing schedule been prepared for 2008? Any chance you will get the east coast of Florida? Stuart, Palm City, Fort Pierce, or Vero Beach?
September 19th, 2007 at 8:01 pm
I happened upon a signing event last year in Sac. Calif. and fell in love with your Fairies. I decorated my entire Xmas Tree with them and expanded into the family room before the season was over. I will see you again in Sac. so you can sign the rest of my gorgeous fairies that I bought after I met you!!! Thanks again for your vision!!!
September 17th, 2007 at 6:56 pm
I was wondering if there will be a creation contest this year.I have a great idea for another charitable fairy! Please let me know any information!
-Thanks!
September 14th, 2007 at 8:05 pm
Mark
Can’t wait to see you again in Blowing Rock, NC at Carriage Trade Antiques this fall! I left most of my fairies “up” this year since Christmas-they are hanging from chandeliers and posing around the dining room and foyer. I get so many comments and questions from friends and neighbors. In fact, they suggested I turn my dining room into a Mark Roberts Fairies Boutique and sell them!!
September 5th, 2007 at 6:49 pm
I love your fairies. I am excited to see that you will be in Sac, CA. I hooked my mother in law on your fairies too, so hopefully she will join me in meeting you at one of the CA signings. Thank you so much for your beautiful catalog and Christmas cards. Will you be making anymore CD’s with your decorating ideas?
September 5th, 2007 at 12:33 pm
Alexis, you might want to consider contacting one of the retailers with whom I will be doing a Signing Event this Fall, and order one for you and your Mom, and then have the Dealer ship it to you.
September 5th, 2007 at 11:51 am
My mother and I love your fairies, she has quite a few. Any plans to make it out to Colorado or Georgia? Neither one of us really has the means to leave or perspective states, and I would love to get something signed for her!
August 30th, 2007 at 10:08 am
I see I will be missed in the Chicagoland area this year! But don’t worry…I will be back.
I look forward to meeting Mary Joe at Bergdorf-Goodman in Manhattan on Sat. Nov. 17th. I love going to The City at that time of year. Maybe Eleanor might make the drive from Philly also. It is always a treat for me when I get to meet collectors around the country…so thanks again for your support!
August 29th, 2007 at 6:05 am
Hi Mark Roberts!
I love all of your Fairies. I have well over 25 of them and buy more every year. They are so cute. I have gotten several of my friends into collecting them too! I also love the calendar that you sent me. It is so cute. Please make a trip to the NW Chicago suburbs sometime in the future. I’d love to meet you! Mangels in Long Grove would be a great place or GWhiz in Barrington! I look forward to seeing all of the beautiful fairies this season. Have a great day!

Any chance of a signing/visit to
Chicago? The Nordstrom’s (Old Orchard/Skokie)sales staff really loves your dolls and they are great at letting customers know when the new ones arrive. I love to buy them as Chrismas presents for family and friends.
August 27th, 2007 at 9:44 am
I won’t be in Pittsburgh this year, but I will be at The Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs, WV for an event there in October. It would be great to see the 2 of you then.
August 27th, 2007 at 9:35 am
I am disappointed that you will not be here in Pittsburgh. Mom (Ursula) and I really enjoyed seeing you. We love your fairies.
August 27th, 2007 at 9:33 am
Yes, you really should register all your Fairies & Santa’s. Right now, we are mailing out my new catalog, and within many of the mailings is either a box of 10 of my Christmas Cards, or an individual Card, depending upon how many registrations a person has, and how recently they registered them.
August 27th, 2007 at 9:32 am
love your fairies!
Was wondering. is it necessary to register each one? I have many, but only registered a couple.
Thanx!
August 27th, 2007 at 9:21 am
Thanks Donna! I actually tried to make it there, but due to scheduling difficulties this year, am unable to make it. I am sure I will be back in the area in the future. I hope you enjoy my new designs this season…there are some really special ones.
August 26th, 2007 at 1:02 pm
Would love to see you again in Geneva, Il. Your fairies are beautiful
